How does the mobile rental work?
When you are ready to book, head to the “book now” page, select your time and kayak preference* (2 or 4 hours, single or double), any add-ons, and checkout. During the checkout process, you will be asked to put in your delivery address. We will deliver your kayak(s) to the location specified on the time and date selected. You must return the kayak(s) at the end of your rental period to the same delivery location. At the end of your rental period, we will return to pick up the kayak(s) and close out your rental.
*Preferences for selected kayaks will be considered but do not guarantee that specific kayak. Kayaks will be assigned based on availability for your date and time.
Are there any blackout dates or times?
Reservations made less than 24 hours in advance can not be guaranteed. Same-day reservations will be based on availability. If you make a same-day reservation or reservation less than 24 hours in advance and we are not available, your payment will be honored for a future date/time or refunded.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We offer 10% off for our active military, veterans, and first responders (law enforcement, EMT/paramedic, firefighters). Use codes MIL2024 for military and FR2024 for first responders at checkout and simply present your ID during delivery.
Is there a fee for delivery?
Standard delivery to the St. Cloud, Kissimmee, and south Orlando area is included in your rental fee. A long-distance delivery fee of up to $20.00 may apply if your location is outside of our normal operating area.
Are there any weight or height restrictions to kayak?
Each kayak’s manufacturer has specifications on the maximum weight supported by that particular kayak. The weight maximums are listed under each kayak on the “available kayaks for rent” page. There are not necessarily any height restrictions, although some taller individuals may feel more comfort in the longer kayaks or those with adjustable footers. Please ensure that you have selected an appropriate kayak during the booking process.
Do I need any special permits to kayak in Florida waters?
No permits are required for the lengths and types of kayaks we offer for rent.
Will I need to provide my own safety gear?
Each kayak rental comes with a USCG-approved life jacket, safety whistle/sounding gear, and flashlight. You are only required to bring any additional safety measures you wish to have for the duration of your rental.
Is there a security deposit?
For the safety and security of all persons involved, there will be a $150.00 damage fee charged to the card on file after your booking in the event the equipment is not returned or is returned damaged. This is to ensure that all equipment is returned in proper working order and void of any damage or destruction for future renters.
Do I need to sign a liability waiver?
Yes. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver upon delivery of the equipment. Refusal to sign the waiver will result in non-refundable cancelation of the rental.
